Interface themes in Warframe are used to alter the user interface. The ability to do this was brought in with The Sacrifice update. Players may now use interface themes to change how various menus look. They can also change the user interface sounds and general background image.
How to Change Interface Themes in Warframe
To change your interface themes, first go to the Options screen via the main menu.
From there, choose the Interface tab, then select the UI Customization option.
In the next menu, you can see options for Theme, Background, and Sounds. You can go into each one individually and choose which variant you would like to use. You will have some options available to you already, but you can purchase more for 50 Platinum, Warframe’s premium in-game currency.
Now you can set up your game to look and sound exactly how you want. Digital Extremes has also included a free colorblind-friendly theme for people who need it. Sadly, I cannot tell you exactly which type of colorblindness it is designed to help. You should be able to find something that suits your preferred look, however.
Interface themes are nice and simple ways to make your game feel more personal. It is also safe to assume that more themes, backgrounds, and sounds will become available in the game over time. An important thing to note here is that not all screens will be affected by the changes yet. There are 131 total screens in the game, and not all of them will have been affected by the new art. Instead, the changes will be slowly rolled out over time, as testing on the redesign is done for different screens.
Now that you know how to change your interface themes in Warframe, it’s time to make those menus suit your mood, Tenno!
