Customizing your agent’s appearance is a significant reason for keeping players interested in The Division 2. Its functionally nearly identical to its predecessor and players can change everything from their headwear to scarves, coats, and more. A new apparel item is a keychain. Its sole purpose is to dangle from your agent’s backpack and maybe start a conversation with fellow gamers. What follows is a list of all the keychains we’ve found in The Division 2 and where you can grab them yourself.
These keychains were only available as part of a specific pre-order program or by participating in the Open Beta. If you missed out on that, it seems that you won’t be able to acquire these keychains.
I received the in-game digital keychain as part of my pre-order incentives for purchasing the Ultimate version from the Uplay Store. Word has it that other pre-order offers also included this item. If you were eligible, you could find the keychain in the Grants section in your game. This is the only keychain that you can purchase from the Ubisoft Store as part of the Agent Backpack bundle.
Capital Building & Supply Crate
Both of these keychains were only available during the Open Beta. If you participated at all, you would have unlocked the Capital Building keychain. If you completed the Darkzone East mission in the Open Beta, you would have unlocked the Supply Crate keychain.
This particular keychain is available to veterans of The Division who have achieved the highest Shield-tier.
Keychain Locations in The Division 2
The following are all keychains that can be found in The Division 2 by playing missions and exploring Washington D.C.
In the Air and Space Museum, search through the cockpit of the crashed shuttle.
The Skeleton keychain can be found during the DCD Headquarters mission in the morgue. Locate a life-sized medical skeleton in the left area and search it to discover the keychain.
After upgrading the Theater settlement twice, you can access a new roof area with a box holding this cute plush hippo.
You will unlock this by naturally progressing through the story after rescuing a certain high-ranking official.
Similar to the Plushie Hippo, this will become available after upgrading the Campus settlement for a second time. It’s located in a flower bed near the stage.
The Gold Bar collectible can be found by searching the vault in the Bank Vault mission.
This keychain is located inside a dresser in the Outcast Stronghold, just before dropping down into the underground.
Throughout Washington D.C. you can trigger conflicts with Hunters, level 35 enemies, that drop a variety of unique loot. After defeating enough Hunters to collect eight keys, you can unlock the ivory chest in the White House which will contain this keychain.
Ice Hockey Player
This bobblehead of a hockey player can be found in the District Union Arena.
Arm Patch and Dog Tags
This keychain is attainable by completing the True Sons Stronghold.
Visit the Lincoln Memorial gift shop to find this collectible.
We will add further details and more keychains as we discover them. Lots of credit goes to the /r/thedivision subreddit for their ongoing efforts to turn Washington D.C. upside down.
