This guide will explain the Ghost Recon Breakpoint release date for those looking to buy Ubisoft’s upcoming co-op shooter. As it turns out, the edition that players choose, and when they buy it, will impact when the get access and, in some cases, even how much access they get.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint Release Date
The Ghost Recon Breakpoint release date is officially set for October 4, 2019. This, however, could change for players who pre-order the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Wolves Collector’s Edition. Gamers that pre-order one of those three get their own release date of October 1, 2019. This results in three days of early access, plus all the other goodies that go with buying the beefed-up edition of a game.
There is one more way to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint early, however, and that’s to pre-order the game. It doesn’t even have to be a special edition. Anyone who pre-orders will be given access to the beta, which as of right now doesn’t have a set date. There are other ways to get into the beta, but a sneaky pre-order is the only guaranteed way in.
For those that might have missed the big announcement of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, it’s not unlike what Ghost Recon Wildlands offered. There will be four-player co-op, of course, but this time around there will be a heavier emphasis on survival, more vehicles to move around the map, and a stamina system that will prevent players from sprinting endlessly without consequence.
Now that you’re familiar with the Ghost Recon Breakpoint release date, get busy deciding which version suits your gaming interest best. Personally, I’m an Ultimate Edition guy. I need the early access and neat little in-game items, but could do without the physical goodies that come with the Wolves Collector’s Edition.
