A fishing chart can make all the difference, and it holds true in Sea of Thieves. With 50 different types of fish to catch, knowing their preferred locations and what bait to use is critical. So before you head out on your next fishing trip, be sure to pack this handy fishing chart.
Fishing Chart – Baits and Locations
The following fishing chart is thanks to the creative talent of SirNilsOlavl on Reddit. This image shows the location of all 10 main breeds of fish in Sea of Thieves. These fish are shown on a grid formation with the required bait on the left. Before you start using the chart, make sure you know how to go fishing!
To read this chart, start by looking for the fish you want to catch, we’ll use the Wrecker as an example. Once you find the Wrecker, look to the top of the column to see where these fish can be found. The Wreckers can be found around shipwrecks. Now that you know where to find your fish, look back at the fish icon and then look to far left of the row to see what type of bait it likes. In the case of the Wrecker, it eats earthworms.
Now that you know where to find the fish you want and what type of bait it likes, you can begin your fishing trip. It’s a good idea to stock up on all types of bait, as you never know what fishing opportunities you might encounter.
This Sea of Thieves fishing chart is incredibly handy. It’s a great tool to have open on your phone or on another screen so you can easily see all the fish needs and locations. Unfortunately, the in-game menu takes a little bit of time to load, and the last thing you want to do is spend unnecessary time in the menu away from fishing!
