It wouldn’t be the Wild West without a little breaking and entering. One type of side quest available in Red Dead Redemption 2 is a set of home robbery quests.

These quests take players to different homes spread out through New Haven in search of valuable treasure. Home Robbery quests are usually given to you by lending a helping a hand to townsfolk or freeing a prisoner. While these areas aren’t marked on your map, you can search the map for the location of the name you were given.

Willard’s Crest (Rocky Seven)

Through your travels, you will hear about a wealthy couple who purchased a home North of Van Horn near the mountains. The easiest way to locate this house is by opening your map, finding Van Horn, and looking North. You will be looking for a section called Willard’s Crest.

You’ll come upon a woman grieving over her husband’s grave. She is in dire need of help, and you will teach her how to hunt to help stay alive. After teaching her how to hunt, you will need to come back a few days later to finish out the quest. You can just make camp or return to Annesburg, which is South of Willard’s Crest.

After teaching her how to shoot a gun, she will invite you in for food. After you have eaten, Arthur will start to feel sick and will fall asleep on the bed. Once Arthur is awake, and the letter has been read, the next step is to loot the nightstand the letter was on.

The Rocky Seven home robbery quest won’t be available until after you finish the first mission of Chapter 6. If you haven’t already, this is also the perfect time to get the Rare Shotgun since you will be close.
