Daily Challenges vary daily in Red Dead Online and require the player to do various things. Some challenges require the player to hunt or fish for certain animals. This guide will show you where the Loon location is in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Loon Location
One of the great things about Red Dead Online is the Daily Challenges that help players earn gold and experience while they travel through the Wild West. The Daily Challenge “ 0/1 Loons Skinned” is one such opportunity players may come across.
Loons can be found in sporadic locations, with the exception of The Heartlands, Grizzlies West, and New Austin. Players can find three different species of Loons, The Common Loon, the Pacific Loon, and the Yellow-billed Loon.
There are three locations that are great for Loon hunting, but we will focus on one of those locations. Players will want to head east of Strawberry to the Owanjila Dam and head to the Owanjila Lake. Aiming your weapon, you will want to scan the sky and water for any Loons. The weapon you will want to use is the Varmint Rifle or the Bow with Small Game Arrows. These weapons will help keep the quality of the Loon without degrading it.
Once you have your Loon you can skin it and gain Gamey Bird Meat, Loon Feather, or Flight Feathers. The Gamey Bird Meat can be cooked at your camp and consumed. The Flight and Loon Feather can be used for crafting arrows.
