Common Bulrush Location
Plants and herbs in Red Dead Redemption 2 are used to create health tonics for yourself and your horse. One plant in particular, the Common Bulrush, is more helpful for your four-legged friend than yourself. This plant can be identified by its long leaves and brown staminate flowers and is found near streams and lakes.
Common Bulrush is used for a wide variety of medicinal uses that pertain to your horse only. The plant is poisonous to humans and will cause your character to vomit upon consuming it. Now that you have been warned, it’s time to harvest some Common Bulrush.
Make your way south of Valentine and just west of Caliban’s Seat along the Dakota River. Since Common Bulrush is found near streams and lakes, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find. The Common Bulrush can also spawn in clusters, so you may be able to pick several at a time.
The Dakota River is also home to a lot of other plants and animals. One of the plants you will find alongside the Common Bulrush is the Burdock Root, so if you are looking for some Burdock Root, you won’t need to go very far.
