While adventuring across the treacherous waters of Raft, players will come across islands that are home to one of three different animals. Those animals are a Clucker, which is a chicken-like creature, a Goat, and a Llama. While these animals may look funny, they are quite important to raft life.

Just like yourself, these animals will need to be fed and cared for while you make your way on your journey. Upon catching one of these and building a pen to keep it in, you will need to make sure they are properly fed.

Players will need to build a Grass Plot to grow grass and set it in an area that is accessible to the animal. To make a Grass Plot, players will need the following materials:

  • 2x Dirt
  • 6x Planks
  • 4x Plastic

After placing the Grass Plot, you will need to water it with some Fresh Water. It will take five minutes for the grass to be fully grown and ready to be consumed. All you will have to do is pour some more Fresh Water on the Grass Plot to grow more.

After consuming grass, your animal companion will produce an item that is needed to keep your survival going. Each Clucker you have will produce one egg, the Goat will produce milk and can be milked if you have a bucket, and the Llama will produce some wool if you have some Shears.

Once your animal friend has produced their designated item, keep watering the Grass Plot to continue feeding your animals in Raft. Be sure to stay tuned to Guide Stash for more guides and news.
