Living crystal of snow? Catching Regice will be simple by solving the puzzle in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra has brought back some Legendary Pokémon for trainers to catch. Some of these legendries require the player to solve a puzzle to gain access to a temple the Pokémon calls home. This guide will tell you how to walk together with a living crystal of snow and catch Regice.

How to Walk Together With a Living Crystal of Snow

Pokémon Sword and Shield Crown Tundra is reintroducing some of its Legendary Pokémon to trainers. To catch one of these Pokémon, players will need to solve a puzzle to gain access to its temple.  One of those temples houses Regice of the Regi Trio. The entrance to Regisce’s temple is in Snowslide Slope. Make your way up the mountain and stick to the left hand side of the path rather than going straight up. Once you come across the temple entrance, interact with the door. After interacting with the door the message “walk together with a living crystal of snow.” will appear.

To solve this puzzle, you will need to catch a Cyrogonal and make it the first Pokémon in your party. If you haven’t caught a Cyrogonal, you should be able to find one in the grass just on the outskirts of the temple. Make Cyrogonal the first Pokémon in your party and interact with the door to open it. Once inside the temple, walk across the dots on the floor to light them up and interact with the statue in the back. Interacting with the statue will let you battle and catch Regice. Just like its name states, Regice is an Ice-type Pokémon, so power Fire-type Pokémon will be what you want to face it with.

Now that you know how to walk together with a living crystal of snow, head over to Giant’s Pass to let ring the piercing note. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for more Pokémon Sword and Shield content.
