Mega Scizor Raid Counters
A new Pokémon is getting its Mega form released during the Bug Out event beginning on August 10. The Pokémon getting its Mega form is the dual Bug and Steel-type Scizor. Trainers will find that this Mega Pokémon may be easier to take down due to its extreme weakness to Fire-type Pokémon. Below you will find the Pokémon you want to have in your party.
- Reshiram: Fire Fang and Overheat
- Mega Charizard/Charizard: Fire Spine and Blast Burn or Overheat
- Heatran: Fire Spin and Fire Blast
- Chandelure: Incinerate and Overheat
- Blaziken: Fire Spin and Blast Burn
- Moltres: Fire Spin and Overheat
Remember that you can have one or more of the same Pokémon in your party that will be effective against Mega Scizor. Be sure to have at least five or more trainers in your party to give yourself a chance in beating Mega Scizor. Upon beating Mega Scizor, you will be given the chance to catch a regular Scizor and obtain Mega Candy. Lucky trainers may also encounter a shiny Scizor as well.
