Habitat Rotation Schedule: Pokémon GO Fest 2020

Keeping track of what current habitat is currently happening during Pokémon GO Fest is simple with this handy guide.

Niantic is pulling out all the stops in Pokémon GO for GO Fest this year, bringing even more festivities to trainers around the world. This guide will show you the Habitat schedule for Pokémon GO Fest 2020.

Habitat Rotation Schedule

So far, 2020 has been a very interesting year for everyone, to say the least. Any form of entertainment has been postponed or canceled due to COVID-19. Niantic, however, is making some big changes to the annual live event known as GO Fest.

Instead of holding Pokémon GO Fest in one location, it is going global. Pokémon GO Fest takes place across two days: Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26. You have from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time to participate in the event.

Rotating Habitat

A new element is being introduced with rotating habitats that will make this possible. Rotating habitats will feature certain types of Pokémon and events that each last for an hour. Some of these habitats will be event-type based like the Battle and Friendship Habitat. Below is the Habitat schedule that features a certain Pokémon or event type.

  • 10 a.m. – Battle Habitat
  • 11 a.m. – Friendship Habitat
  • 12 p.m. – Fire Habitat
  • 1 p.m. – Water Habitat
  • 2 p.m. – Grass Habitat
  • 3 p.m. – Battle Habitat
  • 4 p.m. – Friendship Habitat
  • 5 p.m. – Fire Habitat
  • 6 p.m. – Water Habitat
  • 7 p.m. – Grass Habitat
  • 8 p.m. – Battle Habitat
  • 6 p.m. – Friendship Habitat
  • 7 p.m. – Fire Habitat
  • 8 p.m. – Water Habitat

Players will also be able to take part in and complete themed global challenges. These challenges will change every hour and once completed will unlock special bonuses. Working as a team is a sure-fire way to unlock the special bonuses.

Pokémon GO Fest 2020 looks to be a solid pivot that should appeal to fans of Pokémon GO and is a great way to bring everyone together globally during this time of social distancing. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for more Pokémon GO guides and news
