When is Halo: Reach Coming to PC?

Halo: Reach will be the first title from the updated Halo: The Master Chief Collection to arrive on PC.

Get ready to dive back into Halo: Reach when it makes its debut as the first part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection next month. We’ve known about Halo: Reach coming to PC since earlier this year, when Halo: The Master Chief Collection was announced for PC during Inside Xbox last March. We just didn’t have a release date for the nostalgic remaster until now.

Halo: Reach PC Release Date

Halo: Reach will launch on PC and Xbox One on December 3, 2019, just in time for the holiday season. Brian Jarrard, Community Director at 343 Industries, revealed the release date during Microsoft’s latest Xbox X019 live event. Halo: Reach will join five other Halo titles as part of the updated Halo bundle for PC.

Today’s Halo: Reach release date announcement also came with a new launch trailer featuring remastered gameplay. We’ve included the new Halo: Reach release date trailer below.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which initially released on Xbox One back in 2014, will include Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4, and now, Halo: Reach. To be clear, only Halo: Reach will be available on December 3. It is the first game of the remastered collection to release on PC. The rest of the collection will roll out over time and does not have a release date yet. However, we do know that Halo 4 will be the last of the collection to arrive on PC in 2020.

Despite this, pre-orders for Halo: The Master Chief Collection are available now for $39.99. If you’re a PC player that can’t wait for the full collection, you can pre-order Halo: Reach as a standalone game instead for $9.99 via Steam or the Microsoft Store.
