Grounded is full of insects that can be harmful or helpful. Many of these insects provide materials used for crafting items you will need to survive. One of those insects is the Grub. This guide will show you where to find Grubs and Grub Hide in Grounded.
Where to Find Grubs and Grub Hide
Grubs are the least harmful insects you will come across in Grounded, but they are just as important for your survival. Grubs provide materials that will help you protect yourself during your adventure in the backyard.
To find the location of Grubs, you need to head towards the big oak tree. Grubs can be found burrowing underground at the base of and around the tree’s roots. While the Grubs are burrowing, you won’t be able to do anything to them. You must first dig them up using an Acorn Shovel.
Once you have dug them up, simply defeat the Grub with your spear or any weapon you have on hand. When you have defeated the defenseless bug, you will be able to collect Grub Meat, Grub Goop, and Grub Hide.
Grub materials are used in crafting various items in Grounded, so spending time harvesting Grubs is a good idea. After collecting enough Grub materials, you will be able to craft items like the Canteen, so you can always have water on hand. Other items that can be crafted are the Grub Vest and Grub Goggles. Protecting yourself is very important when you have to take on hostile bugs and insects like ants and spiders.
