Fortnite Season 9 is officially underway, which means there’s a new Battle Pass and series of challenges to look forward to. One of the free challenges for Week 1 of Season 9 involves visiting the new Sky Platforms that were introduced at the start of the season. In this guide, we’ll show you where to visit all Sky Platforms in Fortnite as well as what they look like so you know what to look for when you’re exploring the updated map.
Where to Visit All Sky Platforms in Fortnite
To complete this challenge, players must visit every Sky Platform in Fortnite. There are seven Sky Platforms total, and we’ve circled their locations on the Season 9 map below.
- Starting up north, there is a Sky Platform to the southwest of Lazy Lagoon.
- Look for a Sky Platform to the southeast of the Pressure Plant (formerly the volcano).
- Another Sky Platform is found to the southwest of Pleasant Park.
- There is a Sky Platform near the center of the map west of Dusty Divot.
- In the polar biome, look for a Sky Platform just west of Shifty Shafts.
- A Sky Platform hovers above the Fork-Knife ditch northwest of Fatal Fields.
- The last Sky Platform is found between the hills north of Paradise Palms.
What Do Sky Platforms Look Like?
As the name suggests, these platforms are suspended up in the air. Look for tall red radio towers high in the sky when searching for each platform. They shouldn’t be too hard to spot, as each platform has four large wind turbines on the outside that allow it to hover in the air. Here’s what one of the Sky Platforms look like:
The easiest way to reach a Sky Platform is to land on it directly from the Battle Bus at the start. However, you can also access Sky Platforms by riding on one of the slipstream tunnels, a new transportation system introduced in Season 9. Enter one of these wind tunnels and ride the slipstream do a designated location.
Since this is one of the free Battle Pass challenges for Season 9, you don’t need to purchase the upgraded Battle Pass to complete this challenge. Simply visit each of the Sky Platform locations listed above and finish the match normally to complete the challenge. We recommend doing this in one of the team-based playlists, such as Team Rumble. This will lower the odds of you running into enemy players at each Sky Platform. Check out our other Fortnite guides for more Season 9 coverage.
