Find out when Season X ends and when the next season begins in Fortnite.

The end of Fortnite Season X (Season 10) is approaching fast. Players who are still finishing up any remaining Battle Pass missions will want to know when Fortnite Season 11 starts so they can plan accordingly. We’ll go over what you need to know about the end of Season X and the start of Season 11 in Fortnite based on the latest information from Epic Games.

When Does Season X End?

This week was technically supposed to be the final week of Season X. As such, players began to speculate that the next season would start the week of October 7. However, we’ve received some new information from Epic Games regarding the length of Season X that rules out that theory.

According to the v10.40.1 patch notes from Epic, Fortnite Season X has been extended by one week. The patch notes also mention that the Out of Time missions for this season will be available from October 8 to October 13. The Out of Time missions feature a series of objectives that players can complete to earn last-minute rewards and cosmetics to commemorate the end of the season. This means that Fortnite Season X will end on October 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET.

When Does Season 11 Start?

Based on the above information, we now know Season X is confirmed to last at least until Sunday, October 13. Based on this, it’s reasonable to conclude that Season 11 will start sometime during that week. Fortnite updates typically fall on either a Tuesday or Thursday, so those are good days to bet on.
