Though many Fortbytes in Fortnite may be collected directly, some Fortbytes require extra steps before they can be obtained. Fortbyte 92 is one such example. Fortbyte #92 – Accessible by Using Rock Love Spray Near Lavafall
Although Fortbyte 92 gives us plenty of information to work with, you still may not know how to get this collectible. Similar to Fortbyte 36, which required the Sentinel outfit, Fortbyte 92 involves equipping something to your character before queuing up to find the collectible.
Before you can get Fortbyte 92, you must first equip the Rock Love Spray, which you will receive upon reaching Tier 2 of the Season 9 Battle Pass. If you’ve completed a few weekly challenges, such as visiting all Sky Platforms in Fortnite, chances are you’ve already reached Tier 2. Find and equip the Rock Love Spray to one of your Emote slots within the Locker, then head into a match.
To find the Fortbyte itself, make your way to the Pressure Plant at the former volcano location. Land on the first little ‘island’ near the top of the lavafall that flows out of the Pressure Plant. Look for three metal shipping containers as your landmark.
Fortbyte 92 is hovering over the rock on the ledge just above the containers. It will be locked until you use the Rock Love Spray somewhere nearby. The Fortbyte is conveniently placed right near a smooth wall, however. Bring up your Emote wheel and use the Rock Love Spray on the wall or ground close by to unlock Fortbyte 92.
When the Fortbyte materializes, collect it and be on your way. Don’t leave the match early, though, as you won’t receive credit for the challenge. After successfully collecting Fortbyte 92, another piece of the mystery image will be revealed in the Fortbyte section of the lobby.
