Mirage Rise is an invisible tower players can come across while exploring the Altus Plateau region in Elden Ring. To access the tower, players must find and touch three phantom crests located in the surrounding area. This guide will show you where you need to go to find the three phantom crests and solve the Mirage Rise riddle in Elden Ring.
Mirage Rise: Phantom Crest Locations

The Mirage Rise tower is invisible, hence the name. Similar to other towers like Oridys’s Rise, Mirage Rise has a small imp lectern out front. Interacting with the imp lectern will grant you the Mirage Riddle map, which can be examined from within your inventory. The lectern also instructs you to touch three phantom crests.

The Mirage Riddle map indicates the locations of the three phantom crests found nearby. You will have to interact with all three phantom crests to get the Mirage Rise tower to appear. However, the riddle map is misaligned–it is rotated 90-degrees clockwise compared to the in-game map. We have indicated each phantom crest location with a diamond marker on the in-game map image below.

Continue reading for an explanation of where to go to find each phantom crest in the Mirage Riddle.
Phantom Crest #1

The first phantom crest is found right beside the imp lectern in front of the Mirage Rise tower.
Phantom Crest #2

The second phantom crest is found southwest of the Mirage Rise tower, tucked away in the trees. Beware of the spectral imps that spawn as you approach the area.
Phantom Crest #3

The third phantom crest is found near the broken bridge to the east, close by the Bower of Bounty Site of Grace. The crest is hidden within an illusionary rock up on a hill. Look for a large rock that appears to be glowing at its base. Hit the rock to reveal the final phantom crest.
After finding and touching all three phantom crests, the Mirage Rise tower will become corporeal and you will be able to enter it. Climb to the top of the tower to find a chest containing the Unseen Blade and Unseen Form sorceries, then grab the Slumbering Egg from the corpse nearby.
