Season of Plunder in Destiny 2 has brought with it the King’s Fall Raid and its weapons. One of these weapons is a Guardian’s favorite and with the right perks is deadly. This guide will show the recommended perks that make up the Zaouli’s Bane god roll in Destiny 2.
Zaouli’s Bane God Roll – PvE
Destiny 2 is full of must-have weapons and this Solar Legendary Hand Cannon is one of them. Zaouli’s Bane is obtained by completing one of the many encounters in the King’s Fall Raid. This Hand Cannon packs a punch and is great for any PvE activity. Below are the recommended PvE perks.
PvE Perk Slot 1
Stability and Range barrels will be the key ones to look out for.
- Smallbore: +7 Stability and +7 Range
- Corkscrew Rifling: +5 Stability, +5 Range, and +5 Handling
- Fluted Barrel: +5 Stability and +15 Handling
PvE Perk Slot 2
Magazine Size is important as more bullets mean more enemies you can take down.
- Appended Mag: +2 Magazine
- Flared Magwell: +15 Reload Speed and +5 Stability
- Extended Mag: +3 Magazine, -20 Reload Speed, and +10 Airborne Effectiveness
PvE Perk Slot 3
With three perks to look out for, one that increases damage is what you want.
- Pugilist: Final blows with this weapon generate melee energy. Dealing melee damage briefly improves this weapon’s handling.
- Well-Rounded: Throwing a grenade or hitting a target with a charged melee grants a stacking bonus to weapon stability, handling, and range. Using a Super grants maximum stacks.
- Explosive Payload: Projectiles create an area-of-effect detonation on impact.
PvE Perk Slot 4
One of my favorite perks is available in the final perk slot and is one to look out for.
- Firefly: Precision kills with this weapon increase reload speed and cause the target to explode, dealing Solar damage to nearby enemies
- Incandescent: Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.
Zaouli’s Bane God Roll – PvP
Hand Cannons are abundant in PvP and are one of the main weapons used. Zaouli’s Bane is one of those Guardians will see used. Below are the recommended PvP perks for the Zaouli’s Bane god roll.
PvP Perk Slot 1
Stability will be key for this Hand Cannon, so look out for these two barrels.
- Smallbore: +7 Stability and +7 Range
- Fluted Barrel: +5 Stability and +15 Handling
PvP Perk Slot 2
Once again, Stability will be key as you face others in the Crucible.
- Steady Rounds: +15 Stability, -5 Range, and +7 Airborne Effectiveness.
- Extended Mag: +3 Magazine, -20 Reload Speed, and +10 Airborne Effectiveness
- Accurized Rounds: +10 Range
PvP Perk Slot 3
Just like PvE, Explosive Payload will be the perk to look out for in the third perk slot.
- Gutshot Straight: Aiming down sights increases body shot damage, and decreases target acquisition
- Opening Shot: Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack
- Explosive Payload: Projectiles create an area-of-effect detonation on impact
PvP Perk Slot 4
I personally am not a fan of Firefly in PvP, but is a real viable option for Zaouli’s Bane.
- Demolitionist: Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves
- Firefly: Precision kills with this weapon increase reload speed and cause the target to explode, dealing Solar damage to nearby enemies
