The Verdant Forest is a new location in Destiny 2 for players to fight through. Given that it’s the main feature in the Revelry limited-time spring event, it’s a good idea to know where to find the Verdant Forest. While it’s technically a Mercury-based activity, you won’t find its launch node there.
Where is the Verdant Forest
To find the Verdant Forest in Destiny 2, simply open up the Director and navigate to the Tower. At the top of the screen when looking at the Tower map will be a blue banner. Hover over this banner to discover it is the Verdant Forest.
Much like the Haunted Forest from the Festival of the Lost Halloween event, the Verdant Forest is launched through the Tower, which might not make a lot of sense to some players. The reason it might not make sense is that the Verdant Forest is actually a version of the Infinite Forest, an area exclusive to Mercury. However, during these limited-time events that utilize this map space, the new activities are typically found via the Tower.
Selecting the Verdant Forest node from the Tower will show you a difficulty level of 200. You can select this difficulty to choose between two versions of the Verdant Forest, the regular one and the Firewalled Verdant Forest. The difference between these two is that the Firewalled version does not include matchmaking. This option is good for those who don’t want any random players joining their Fireteam.
While we don’t know what the Solstice of Heroes will hold for players, if it includes a new version of the Infinite Forest, there’s a good chance you’ll find it through the Tower as well. For now though, if you want to complete the Party Hard triumph, you’re going to need to know where to find the Verdant Forest in Destiny 2.
