These perks are what Lord Saladin wants you to have for the Talons of the Eagle for PvE and PvP in Destiny 2.

Weapons in the Iron Banner aren’t in short supply thanks to Lord Saladin. Guardians can expect to be fully stocked to impress the Iron Lords, and this Legendary Scout Rifle is a must-have. Some perks are better than others, so you will want to check to see what you have. Here are the recommended PvE and PvP perks that make up the Talons of the Eagle god roll.

Talons of the Eagle PvE God Roll

Scout Rifles in Destiny 2  are one of the weapons I always carry on me. They are great distance weapons and allow you to take on challenging areas at a slow pace. They are also great at taking down your opponent from a distance in the Crucible. With that in mind, stability will be an essential stat to increase, and the recommended perks you’re looking for will do that. The recommended PvE perks are listed below.

PvE Perk Slot 1

The four barrels that are recommended will increase Stability and Handling.

  • Arrowhead Break – +10 Handling and +30 Recoil control
  • Corkscrew Rifling – +5 Range, +5 Stability, and +5 Handling
  • Fluted Barrel – +5 Stability and +15 Handling
  • Polygonal Rifling +10 Stability

PvE Perk Slot 2

Talons of the Eagle only has two perks that are recommended for the god roll and they both help with stability.

  • Tactical Mag – +5 Stability, +10 Reload Speed, and + 10 Magazine.
  • Steady Rounds – +15 Stability and -5 Range

PvE Perk Slot 3

The perk you’re looking for in this slot will increase your stability, but the other two are just as good.

Article continues below
  • Zen Moment – Causing damage increases stability.
  • Outlaw – Precision kills decrease reload time.
  • Full Auto Trigger System – Holding down the trigger will fire this weapon at full auto.

PvE Perk Slot 4

The last perk slot is all about damage with only two different perks to look for.

  • Rampage – Kills with this weapon temporarily grant increased damage. Stacks three times.
  • Explosive Payload – Projectiles create an area of effect detonation on impact.

Talons of the Eagle PvP God Roll

If you plan on taking Talons of the Eagle into PvP, be sure to check your current roll against the various god roll perks we’ve got outlined below.

PvP Perk Slot 1

Luckily, the barrels you want for PvP are similar to those you want for PvE.

  • Arrowhead Break – +10 Handling and +30 Recoil control
  • Corkscrew Rifling – +5 Range, +5 Stability, and +5 Handling
  • Fluted Barrel – +5 Stability and +15 Handling

PvP Perk Slot 2

One specific perk is all you’re looking for in the second slot and it will help with stability. I will recommend two others that could be useful as well.

  • Tactical Mag – +5 Stability, +10 Reload Speed, and + 10 Magazine.
  • Accurized Rounds – +10 Range
  • Flared Magwell – +5 Stability and +15 Reload Speed

PvP Perk Slot 3

Once again ,you’re only looking for one specific perk, but there is another that could do as well.

  • Zen Moment – Causing damage increases stability.
  • Firmly Planted – Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.

PvP Perk Slot 4

In the last perk slot, you want either of these two perks.

  • Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.
  • Moving Target – Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.

Now that you know what Talons of the Eagle god roll perks you’re looking for. Go forth and make the Iron Lords proud and check out or Crimil’s Dagger god roll guide for Destiny 2.
