Destiny 2 Season of the Witch brought back the classic raid Crota’s End and with it a lot of loot for Guardians to receive. Besides the armor, weapons with the right perks are some of the most sought-after loot. One of those weapons is the Swordbreaker. Swordbreaker God Roll – PvE
Swordbreaker is a Kinetic Shotgun that Guardians can earn while completing the Crota’s End Raid in Destiny 2. Shotguns are great for when you want to bring the combat to your enemies with an up-and-close touch. While there are many perks that you can acquire for Swordbreaker. The ones below are what make up the Swordbreaker God Roll for PvE.
PvE Perk Slot 1
Increased Stability and Handling are a must for Shotguns.
- Corkscrew Rifling: +5 Stability, +5 Range, and +5 Handling
- Barrel Shroud: +10 Stability and +10 Handling
PvE Perk Slot 2
Just like the first perk, increasing Stability will be what you are looking for here.
- Appended Mag: +1 Magazine
- Tactical Mag: + 1 Magazine, +10 Reload Speed, and +5 Stability
- Assault Mag: +10 Rounds Per Minute and +15 Stability
PvE Perk Slot 3
Any of the perks listed below will be great to have in this perk slot.
- Pugilist: Final blows with this weapon generate melee energy. Dealing melee damage briefly improves this weapon’s handling.
- Subsistence: Defeating targets partially reloads the magazine from reserves.
- Demolitionist: Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
PvE Perk Slot 4
The last perk will really depend on your playstyle, but I personally like One-Two Punch.
- Golden Tricorn: Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. While this buff is active, grenade or melee kills of the same damage type greatly increase its damage and duration.
- Sword Logic: Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. The strength and duration of the bonus increase when more powerful targets are defeated.
- One-Two Punch: Hitting an enemy with every pellet in a shot increases melee damage for a short duration.
Swordbreaker God Roll – PvP
Shotguns are a big staple in certain Crucible modes. The perks listed below are what make up the Swordbreaker God Roll for PvP.
PvP Perk Slot 1
Just like in PvE, Stability and Handling are key.
- Corkscrew Rifling: +5 Stability, +5 Range, and +5 Handling
- Barrel Shroud: +10 Stability and +10 Handling
- Smallbore: +7 Stability and +7 Range
PvP Perk Slot 2
With only two perks to look out for. One stands out over the other.
- Assault Mag: +10 Rounds Per Minute and +15 Stability
- Accurized Rounds: +10 Range
PvP Perk Slot 3
However, any of the three perks will be good. One of them is the most sought after.
- Elemental Capacitor: Increased stats based on the currently equipped subclass.
- [Solar] increases your reload speed.
- [Arc] increases handling.
- [Void] increases stability.
- [Stasis] moderately controls recoil and increases movement speed when aiming down sights.
- [Strand] increases airborne effectiveness.
- Threat Detector: Increased Reload, Stability, and Handling when enemies are in close proximity.
- Slideways: Sliding partially reloads this weapon’s magazine and temporarily boosts Range and Stability.
PvP Perk Slot 4
Only one perk will be worth looking for in the last perks lot.
- Opening Shot: Improved Accuracy and Range on the opening shot of attack.
