The VY-7 is a Submachine Gun in Season of the Worthy in Destiny 2. This Legendary Energy weapon can be yours with a little bit of work, but obtaining the recommended god roll will take a little extra time. This guide will tell you the recommended perks for the Seventh Seraph VY-7 god roll in Destiny 2.
Seventh Seraph VY-7 PvE God Roll
Submachine Guns in Destiny 2 have quickly become a favorite of mine, especially in Season of the Worthy. These weapons are very versatile in both PvE and PvP. Whether you’re needing to take down a group of enemies or your opponent, the Seventh Seraph VY-7 will help you do so. Here are the recommended PvE perks for this Submachine Gun.
PvE Perk Slot 1
Stability and Handling are going to be your main focus when it comes to PvE barrels.
- Fluted Barrel – +5 Stability and +15 Handling.
- Smallbore – +7 Range and +7 Stability.
- Arrowhead Brake – +10 Handling and +30 Range.
PvE Perk Slot 2
Magazine size will be your friend. More bullets mean more enemies you can takedown.
- Appended Mag – +20 Magazine.
- Tactical Mag – +5 Stability, +10 Reload Speed, and + 10 Magazine.
- Extended Mag – -20 Reload Speed and +30 Magazine.
PvE Perk Slot 3
Any of the three perks listed will be great. Anything to help increase Stability and Handling will be best.
- Firmly Planted – Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.
- Fourth Time’s the Charm -Rapidly landing precision hits will return two rounds to the magazine.
- Ambitious Assassin – Overflows the magazine based on the number of rapid kills before reloading.
PvE Perk Slot 4
I personally like Dragonfly as my fourth perk, but Vorpal Weapon is also good.
- Feeding Frenzy – Kills with this weapon increase reload speed for a short time.
- Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
- Dragonfly – Precision kills create an elemental damage explosion.

The Seventh Seraph VY-7 PvP perks will mainly focus on Range or Stability and mirror some of the PvE perks. Check out the recommended perks for a PvP god roll below.

With only two perks to look for in the third slot, Firmly Planted is going to be your best option.
- Firmly Planted – Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.
- Pulse Monitor – Auto-reloads part of the magazine when wielder is critically wounded.
