The Saw is the aptly named Heavy Machine Gun in Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy. Guardians can earn this heavy weapon and get some great perks on it. For those that want the god roll, a lot of work will have to be put in to get it. The recommended perks for a god roll will saw through any enemy that stands in the way. This guide will tell you the recommended perks for the Seventh Seraph Saw in Destiny 2.
Seventh Seraph Saw PvE God Roll
Machine Guns in Destiny 2 are one of my favorite Heavy Weapons next to Swords and the Heavy Bow. They are one of the weapons that Bungie seems to get right and have been getting right since launch. 21 % Delirium and Thunderlord are two of just many Machine Guns that are considered the best in Destiny 2. The Seventh Seraph Saw looks to be one of those Machine Guns that will take its place among the Elite in PvE and PvP. Without further ado, here are the recommended PvE perks.
PvE Perk Slot 1
When it comes to Machine Guns, the barrels you are looking for will increase Stability and Handling.
- Arrowhead Break – +10 Handling and +30 Recoil.
- Fluted Barrel – +5 Stability and +15 Handling.
- Polygonal Rifling – +10 Stability.
PvE Perk Slot 2
With three different possible perks for PvE roll, I would say Stability and Reload Speed are what you’re looking for, but the extra damage is always nice.
- Appended Mag – +20 Magazine.
- Armor-Piercing Rounds – +5 Range.
- Flared Magwell – +5 Stability and +15 Reload Speed.
PvE Perk Slot 3
Three seems to be the magic number when it comes to perks for PvE rolls. Luckily each perk has great reload features.
- Clown Cartridge – Reloading this weapon randomly overfills it from reserves.
- Auto-Loading Holster – The holstered weapon is automatically reloaded after a short period of time.
- Field Prep – Increased ammo reserves. Faster reload, stow, and ready when you’re crouching. Inventory size +30
PvE Perk Slot 4
Machine Guns are mainly used to clear out a large room of enemies or to take down a tough enemy quickly. Any of these perks will do the job.
- Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
- Firing Line – This weapon deals increased precision damage when near two or more allies.
- Elemental Capacitor – Increased states based on the currently equipped subclass.
- Solar – increases reload speed.
- Arc – increases handling.
- Void – increases stability.
Seventh Seraph Saw PvP God Roll
You will notice a lot of similarities with PvE god roll when compared to the PvP god roll. Here are the perks that are considered god roll for the Seventh Seraph Saw.
PvP Perk Slot 1
Even though Machine Guns can mow anyone down up close, Range is going to be your friend.
- Arrowhead Break – +10 Handling and +30 Recoil.
- Fluted Barrel – +5 Stability and +15 Handling.
- Polygonal Rifling – +10 Stability.
- Smallbore – +7 Range and +7 Stability.
PvP Perk Slot 2
Once again, Range and Stability are going to be your go-to perks.
- Appended Mag – +20 Magazine.
- Armor-Piercing Rounds – +5 Range.
- Flared Magwell – +5 Stability and +15 Reload Speed.
- High-Caliber Rounds – +5 Range
- Ricochet Rounds – + Range and +10 Stability.
PvP Perk Slot 3
Having extra rounds in your Machine Gun is crucial in PvP. These perks can help with that.
- Zen Moment – Causing damage with this weapon increases its stability.
PvP Perk Slot 4
While any recommended perk is good for the last slot, I would go with Opening Shot over anything else for PvP.
- Vorpal Weapon – Increased damage against bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super active.
- Firing Line – This weapon deals increased precision damage when near two or more allies.
- Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attacks.
- Mulligan – Missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to the magazine.
- Elemental Capacitor – Increased states based on the currently equipped subclass.
- Solar – increases reload speed.
- Arc – increases handling.
- Void – increases stability.
Whether you play PvE or PvP you know what recommended rolls you’re looking for. The Seventh Seraph Saw will be a weapon you want to have, as I think it will be an amazing weapon against Guardians or other enemies.
