Roar of the Bear God Roll – Destiny 2

Roar of the Bear God Roll – Destiny 2

Keep an eye out for these PvE and PvP perks if you're searching for a Roar of the Bear god roll in Destiny 2.

Roar of the Bear is Rocket Launcher earned through the Iron Banner in Destiny 2. While it seems that Rocket Launchers have had their time in the spotlight, having one with the right perks is always handy. This guide will show you what the recommended perks make up the Roar of the Bear god roll in Destiny 2.

Roar of the Bear God Roll PvE

Rocket Launchers have always been one of my favorite weapons in Destiny. In fact, the very first exotic weapon I got was the fabled Gjhallahorn after running my very first Vault of Glass (One of the best raids). Gjhallahorn made any boss quiver in fear and made me appreciate Rocket Launchers even more. Rocket Launchers aren’t used as often these days, but they are still very effective in the right situations. Here are the recommended perks you will want to look for in PvE.

PvE Perk Slot 1

Rocket Launchers are more effective when they have a larger Blast Radius or greater Velocity.

  • Volatile Launch – -5 Handling, -5 Velocity, and +15 Blast Radius.
  • Linear Compensator – +5 Stability, +5 Velocity, and +5 Blast Radius.
  • Hard Launch – -10 Stability, -5 Blast Radius. and +15 Velocity,
  • Quick Launch – +15 Handling and +10 Velocity.

PvE Perk Slot 2

Once again either Blast Radius or Velocity is what you are looking for. I really like High-Velocity Rounds in this slot.

  • Alloy Casing – -10 Stability and +30 Reload Speed.
  • Black Powder – -10 Stability and +5 Blast Radius.
  • High-Velocity Rounds – +10 Reload Speed and +10 Velocity.
  • Implosion Rounds – +15 Stability, +10 Velocity, and -10 Blast Radius.

PvE Perk Slot 3

You are only looking for one perk in the third slot for PvE.

  • Tracking Module – Adds tracking capability to rockets. Locks onto targets when aiming down sights.

PvE Perk Slot 4

With only two perks to keep your eye on, I really like Kill Clip.

  • Auto-Loading Holster – The holstered weapon is automatically reloaded after a short period of time.
  • Kill Clip – Reloading after a kill grants increased damage.

Roar of the Bear God Roll PvP

When it comes to PvP, Rocket Launchers aren’t what they used to be, so you will be limited with the perks you want to have.

PvP Perk Slot 1

Blast Radius and Velocity is the theme for the first two slots with Roar of the Bear.

  • Volatile Launch – -5 Handling, -5 Velocity, and +15 Blast Radius.
  • Linear Compensator – +5 Stability, +5 Velocity, and +5 Blast Radius.

PvP Perk Slot 2

The second slot is filled with very similar perks from PvE.

  • Alloy Casing – -10 Stability and +30 Reload Speed.
  • Black Powder – -10 Stability and +5 Blast Radius.
  • High-Velocity Rounds – +10 Reload Speed and +10 Velocity.

PvP Perk Slot 3

Only two perks will be what you want to have in the third perk slot. Tracking Module will be your friend.

  • Tracking Module – Adds tracking capability to rockets. Locks onto targets when aiming down sights.
  • Snapshot Sights – Faster time to aim down sights.

PvP Perk Slot 4

Not a lot of choices to pick from in the last perk slot for PvP. Quickdraw is your best bet for PvP.

  • Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
