The Season of Opulence begins this week which means new pinnacle weapons will be available for players to earn. The pinnacle weapons for Destiny 2 Season of Opulence are a must-have for those who want to collect them all.
Pinnacle Weapons Season of Opulence
With a new season of Destiny 2 brings new pinnacle weapons to be sought. Pinnacle weapons are earned from completing triumphs and are associated with Vanguard Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit modes.
Once completed, you will receive a Masterwork weapon with unique perks. Season of Opulence pinnacle weapons will be available for Guardians to chase after starting June 4.
The Wendigo GL-3 is the Vanguard pinnacle weapon that fits into the Adaptive Grenade Launcher archetype. The unique perk on the Wendigo GL-3 is Explosive Light. Picking up an Orb of Light increases the next grenade’s blast radius and damage. This Grenade Launcher also comes with Blinding Grenades as a magazine option.
The Revoker is the Crucible pinnacle weapon and fits into the Kinetic Aggressive Sniper Rifle archetype. The unique perk on the Revoker is Reversal of Fortune. Missing a shot returns the bullet to the magazine after a short duration.
Revoker comes with a custom low-zoom Ambush SLH25 scope and Snapshot for close quarters firefights and will be easily attainable by reaching 3,500 total Glory points. Revoker may be the easiest one to get out of the three.
Hush is the Gambit pinnacle weapon that fits into the Precision Combat Bow archetype. The unique perk on Hush is Archer’s Gambit. Hipfire precision hits grant massive draw speed bonus for a short duration.
Combat Bows are highly underrated and underused in PvP and Hush will definitely be one that is used in Crucible. While all three pinnacle weapons are good, I think Hush wins Season of Opulence with Wendigo GL-3 coming in second.
Season of Opulence in Destiny 2 is available June 4, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Check out our Destiny 2 hub for all guides and news.
