Getting the Truth exotic rocket launcher is no easy task in Destiny 2. The first step starts with a simple scrap of paper, but its location is hidden somewhere in the Leviathan. This guide will show you how to get A Scrap of Paper quest step in Destiny 2 and begin your journey for the Truth.

Taking that first important step in obtaining the Truth exotic rocket launcher can be a little confusing. Guardians will need to find the quest step A Scrap of Paper after completing a round of Menagerie.

The Menagerie can be located by opening the Destination hub on your map and selecting Nessus. Next, you will need to select the Leviathan, which is located at the bottom of the screen, and then select the Menagerie. The Menagerie is the Chalice icon next to the Leviathan.

Once you defeat the boss you’ll receive the first quest step called A Scrap of Paper. The quest A Scrap of Paper reads as follows:

  • Amid the wreckage of the your victory in the Menagerie, you discover a tattered note written in Awoken script. You can’t read it, but you’ve certainly fought alongside someone who can. Visit the Dreaming City to speak to Petra Venj.

You’ll want to have this weapon ready for the launch of Shadowkeep on October 1.
