New weapons await those guardians who wish to take on the grind. One of these weapons is a brand-new sword called Half-Truths. This Heavy weapon is quick to slice opponents and comes with a set of perks you might want. This guide will show you the Half-Truths god roll in Destiny 2
Half-Truths God Roll PvE
The Bungie 30th Anniversary event has kicked off in Destiny 2 and has brought a slew of new weapons with it. One of those weapons is the Legendary Sword Half-Truths which can be equipped in the Heavy weapon slot. Guardians will be looking for certain perks and you can see those recommended PvE perks below.
PvE Perk Slot 1
Increased Magazine Size, Ammo Capacity, and Impact will go a long way on this Sword.
- Tempered Edge: +2 Ammo Capacity, +10 Magazine, and +1 Impact
- Hungry Edge: +4 Ammo Capacity and +20 Magazine
- Honed Edge: +2 Impact
PvE Perk Slot 2
Stability and Defense are key to good guarding with a Sword. Increased Inventory is always a plus as well.
- Burst Guard: +100 Stability, +20 Guard Resistance, and +90 Guard Efficiency
- Swordmaster’s Guard: +20 Stability, +20 Defense, +50 Inventory Size, +30 Efficiency, and +10 Charge Time.
- Heavy Guard: +80 Stability, +80 Defense, +70 Inventory, +50 Efficiency, -10 Charge Time
PvE Perk Slot 3
Getting back any ammo is great when using a Sword. Either one of these perks will be great to have.
- Relentless Strikes: Landing three light-attack hits within a short time grants Sword ammo
- Tireless Blade: Sword ammo granted for every other powered sword kill
PvE Perk Slot 4
Increasing weapon damage is always a good choice when it comes to Swords.
- Assassin’s Blade: Sword kills boost movement speed and damage
- Harmony: Final blows with other weapons improve this weapon’s damage and performance for a short duration
- En Garde: Quick attacks immediately after swapping to this sword do additional damage
Half-Truths God Roll PvP
Swords are a preferred Heavy weapon in PvP and Half-Truths will certainly be a part of PvP for a long time. Here are the recommended PvP perks to keep an eye out for.
PvP Perk Slot 1
Much like the PvE perks, the focus will be on Ammo Capacity, Impact, and Magazine Size.
- Tempered Edge: +2 Ammo Capacity, +10 Magazine, and +1 Impact
- Hungry Edge: +4 Ammo Capacity and +20 Magazine
- Honed Edge: +2 Impact
PvP Perk Slot 2
Guarding in PvP may not be that important, but it is good to do just in case.
- Burst Guard: +100 Stability, +20 Guard Resistance, and +90 Guard Efficiency
- Swordmaster’s Guard: +20 Stability, +20 Defense, +50 Inventory Size, +30 Efficiency, and +10 Charge Time.

- En Garde: Quick attacks immediately after swapping to this sword do additional damage
- Eager Edge: Gain increased Sword lunge distance immediately after switching to this weapon
