Destiny 2: Beyond Light has introduced players to a slew of new weapons they can get ahold of, opening up a brand new arsenal at the disposal of the Guardian. While some weapons may be considered better than others, it is really the perks that make the difference. This guide will show the Corsair’s Wrath god roll for PvE and PvP in Destiny 2.
Corsair’s Wrath God Roll – PvE
Corsair’s Wrath is a Legendary Power weapon obtained by completing “Hunt for the Wrathborn” quests from Crow on the Tangled Shore. This Linear Fusion Rifle has quickly become one of my favorite Season of the Hunt weapons to use in PvE. Below are the listed perks you want to look out for, and in bold are our favorite perks to use in PvE.
PvE Perk Slot 1
Range is important as you want to keep a distance from your enemies and take them out before reaching you. Making sure your weapon is stable is just as important.
- Hammer Forged Rifling: +10 Range
- Fluted Barrel: +5 Stability and + 15 Handling
- Smallbore: +7 Range and +7 Stability
PvE Perk Slot 2
Increasing Magazine Size is key as this weapon’s magazine only holds 5 at a time.
Enhanced Battery: +20 Magazine
- Ionized Battery: -20 Reload Speed and +40 Magazine
- Liquid Coils: +10 Impact and -10 Charge Time
PvE Perk Slot 3
You can’t go wrong with either of these perks, but having extra Stability doesn’t hurt.
- Firmly Planted: Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.
- Outlaw: Precision kills greatly decrease reload time.
PvE Perk Slot 4
- Two perks really stand out, and I personally like Thresh as the go-to perk.
- Demolitionist: Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
- Thresh: Killing combatants with this weapon generates a small amount of Super Energy.
Corsair’s Wrath God Roll – PvP
Linear Fusion Rifles may not be widely used in PvP, but they are great for taking out other Guardians from afar.
PvP Perk Slot 1
Range is the best option when it comes to PvP. These barrels will provide just that.
- Hammer Forged Rifling: +10 Range
- Extended Barrel: +10 Range, +10 Recoil, and -10 Handling
- Full Bore: 15 Range, -5 Handling, and -10 Stability
PvP Perk Slot 2
With two options to choose from. A coil that extends Range is what you will be looking for.
- Accelerated Coils: -10 Impact and +10 Charge Time
- Projection Fuse: +10 Range
PvP Perk Slot 3
Accuracy is important when trying to dispatch other Guardians from across the map.
- Firmly Planted: Increased accuracy, stability, and handling when firing while crouched.
- Killing Wind: Final blows grant increased mobility, weapon range, and handling for a short duration.
- Moving Target: Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.
PvP Perk Slot 4
Two of the three perks below will be what you are looking for.
- Demolitionist: Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.
- Thresh: Killing combatants with this weapon generates a small amount of Super Energy.
- Quickdraw: This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
