The Mida Multi-Tool has some mighty competition as far as tool names go in Destiny 2. Season of the Haunted has introduced a new Legendary Sub Machine gun called the Calus Mini-Tool. This new weapon fits into the Energy Weapon slot and has a Solar burn. To obtain one, guardians will need to partake in the Derelict Leviathan Activity on the Leviathan.

Each Calus Mini-Tool will come with a set of perks on it. While these perks are random, there are a few that you will want to look out for to make your Calus Mini-Tool stand out from the rest. Below you will find the recommended perks that make up the Calus Mini-Tool god roll.

PvE Perk Slot 1

There are three stats that you want to increase on the Mini-Tool. Stability, Handling, and Range are the three you want to look out for. Look out for these barrels.

  • Smallbore: +7 Stability and +7 Range
  • Corkscrew Rifling: +5 Stability, +5 Range, and +5 Handling
  • Fluted Barrel: +5 Stability and +15 Handling

PvE Perk Slot 2

They say the more bullets the better. Keep an eye out for a magazine that increases the Magazine Size.

  • Appended Mag: +3 Magazine
  • Extended Mag: +4 Magazine and -20 Reload Speed
  • Tactical Mag: + 1 Magazine, +10 Reload Speed, and +5 Stability

PvE Perk Slot 3

There are only two perks to look out for in Perk Slot 3.

  • Unrelenting: Rapidly defeating targets triggers health regeneration. Guardians and powerful combatants count as more than one kill
  • Grave Robber: Melee final blows reload this weapon’s magazine from reserves

PvE Perk Slot 4

With three perks to look out for. One of the stands out from the rest.

  • Disruption Break: Breaking an enemy’s shield with this weapon makes them more vulnerable to Kinetic damage for a brief period
  • Feeding Frenzy: Each rapid kill with this weapon progressively increases reload speed for a short time
  • Incandescent: Defeating a target spreads scorch to those nearby. More powerful combatants and opposing Guardians cause scorch in a larger radius.

For those guardians who love to play against others. The Calus Mini-Tool is a must-have as it has become one weapon that dominates Crucible. Below are the recommended perks for PvP.

PvP Perk Slot 1

Unlike PvE, Range plays a more important part in PvP, and keeping an eye out for these barrels is a good idea.

  • Smallbore: +7 Stability and +7 Range
  • Hammer-Forged Rifling: +10 Range
  • Fluted Barrel: +5 Stability and +15 Handling

PvP Perk Slot 2

There is only one perk that should be looked out for in Perk Slot 2.

  • Accurized Rounds: +10 Range

PvP Perk Slot 3

Depending on your playstyle will depend on what perk you like for Perk Slot 3

  • Threat Detector: Increased reload, stability, and handling when enemies are in close proximity
  • Moving Target: Increased movement speed and target acquisition when moving while aiming down sights.

PvP Perk Slot 4

Surviving a gunfight is extremely important and one of these perks will help out with that.

  • Eye of the Storm: This weapon becomes more accurate and boosts handling as your health gets lower.
  • Grants a short period of increased stability and accuracy on initial trigger pull.
