Will Death Stranding Release on Xbox One?

We may still have a lot of questions about what's going on in Death Stranding, but an Xbox One release is something we know the answer to.

One of the biggest games of 2019 will be here before we know it. One question remains; will Death Stranding release on Xbox One? We have the answer for you.

Hideo Kojima is set to release his first game under Kojima Productions since his split with Capcom. Death Stranding is an action-adventure game where players take on the role of Sam Bridges as he tries to reconnect isolated cities and a fragmented society. Mysterious explosions have rocked the planet, setting off supernatural events known as Death Stranding and have set the earth on a path towards mass extinction.

Death Stranding has a fantastic cast of characters including Norman Reedus, who was slated to star in the canceled Silent Hills game. Along with Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo Del Toro, and several others lend their likeness and voice to the cast. A lot of questions have still gone unanswered about the world of Death Stranding, and more will be discovered when it releases on November 8, 2019, for the PlayStation 4.

Is Death Stranding a PlayStation Exclusive?

With Death Stranding coming out in just over a month, Xbox One players are wondering if they will be able to play the newest installment by Hideo Kojima. At this time Death Stranding is set to be released only on the PlayStation 4.

While that might be bad news to some, it is noteworthy to know that Death Stranding is not a PlayStation exclusive title as it’s not on the PlayStation 4 exclusives lists. Consequently, it is rumored we could see a release on PC. Only time will tell for certain.

Xbox One owners will just have to hope that Kojima is saving a big announcement for them and will bring the chilling adventures of Sam Bridges to the Xbox. We can also hope to one day understand what Death Stranding is all about. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for more articles on Death Stranding.
