On May 10, the Battlefield Twitter account teased some big news coming in June following a series of cryptic messages to members of the Battlefield community. Fast-forward to today June 9 and a big reveal for Battlefield 2042 has finally been announced.
Battlefield 2042, as you have probably guessed it, takes place in various areas across the world. From the mountains to warehouses, to sprawling cities. The five-minute reveal video showed everything from ground attacks to air assaults, promising the full Battlefield 2042 experience. When can we expect Battlefield 2042 to be released, though?
Officially announced on the EA website, we can expect Battlefield 2042 to release on October 22, 2021. While it was it was rumored to come out a little sooner, we for sure have an exact date from the source. Players and fans of the Battlefield series can gear up for a big gameplay reveal on June 13 that will show more of what we can expect.
