Lagertha’s Axe is bound to be one of the most sought after weapons for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players who are also fans of the show Vikings, which I am. Players can thankfully find this two-handed axe early in the game. Today, I’m going to show you exactly how to do so.
Lagertha’s Axe Location
Players can find Lagertha’s Axe in the Eurvicscire region of England. It has a suggested power level of 190, which is largely irrelevant. Those interested in obtaining this weapon will need to head to the far north of the region to a place called Housesteads. Once here, obtaining the axe is easy.
Players will need to look for a building that has a wall that can be destroyed. For players that have the Incendiary Powder Trap ability, shoot it at the wall and it will crumble. For those that don’t, you’ll need to locate an exploding canister, place it at the wall, then shoot it to clear a path. You could also throw the canister at the wall if you’re short on arrows.
Once the wall is out of the way, walk inside and claim Lagertha’s Axe from the chest. It really is that easy. In fact, players can sail straight from their main settlement to the shores south of Housesteads without any combat worries whatsoever. The journey to this weapon is as safe as any in the game, making this axe easily obtainable and a target for players who want a potent weapon in the early hours of their time in England.
Lagertha’s Axe is a two-handed weapon with a unique perk that will increase critical damage when surrounded by more than three enemies. This makes the axe’s usefulness tied more to style of play or situation than anything. It might be great in large-scale battles with enemies all around, but less desirable when stealth is a better option. Either way, give it a swing and see how it feels.
