Gamers who missed out on getting a key to the Overwatch 2 beta last week will have another chance to earn a key this weekend. The Overwatch League kicks off its fifth season on May 5, 2022. Those who tune in during opening weekend will have a chance to win access for the Overwatch 2 beta on PC. This guide will explain what you need to do to link your YouTube and Battle.net accounts to get Overwatch 2 beta keys as well as League Tokens.
Blizzard will be handing out 1500 Overwatch 2 beta keys every hour of the Overwatch League broadcast, starting at 12 p.m. PT each day from May 5-8, 2022. To be eligible, you must watch at least one hour of the broadcast and you can only receive YouTube drops near the end of the hour. Additionally, eligible viewers will earn League Tokens for each hour of live Overwatch League watched. Check out the full Overwatch League 2022 season schedule for details.
How to Link YouTube and Battle.net Accounts

To be eligible for Overwatch League viewership rewards, you must first link your YouTube account to your Blizzard Battle.net account. Log into both platforms, then follow these steps:
- Log in to YouTube
- Go to Settings
- Select the Connected Apps tab
- Find Battle.net and click Connect
Once you have connected your YouTube account to your Battle.net account, all you have to do is tune in to watch live Overwatch League broadcasts this weekend. Since the Overwatch 2 beta key giveaway is a sweepstakes, there are some official rules entrants must heed as well. The Overwatch 2 beta is set to continue through mid-May, but there will be other beta tests in the future, hopefully opening up to console players.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t hurt to have your Battle.net account linked to your YouTube account anyway, as there may be other opportunities for reward drops on YouTube in the future. Stay tuned to Guide Stash for more gaming guides.
